Lux Trading Firm: Pick the Rule Version Before Calculating Drawdown

Lux Trading Firm's homepage links separate New Trading Rules and Old Trading Rules and lists different account routes. A search result alone should not decide which rule applies. This guide checks the current linked new-rules description on 24 October 2026 and illustrates the calculation it names.

A document label and an account contract are separate

The new-rules page describes a 1-Step evaluation on a demo account and an INSTA route. Its drawdown section states 6% of the starting balance as a static limit that does not rise with gains.

Use the actual product, document URL and accepted version together. The existence of both menu links does not establish which version governs a particular old account. This article does not declare old accounts migrated or resolve a private agreement.

A static boundary does not follow the profit peak

For a fictional 100,000 starting balance, 6% is 6,000 and the illustrated static boundary is 94,000. A later hypothetical 102,000 peak does not move that boundary under this stated definition.

By comparison, an invented fixed-amount trailing model of 6,000 below a 102,000 peak would give 96,000. That second model is a mathematical contrast, not a claim about Lux's old rules. Mixing the models would produce a different answer.

Record what the calculation still leaves out

A full account assessment also needs the exact equity/balance rule, event timing, costs, other limits and any account-stage conditions. The example here is not a personal stop level or permission to risk a particular amount.

Keep currency units as quoted. English page language or a dollar-labelled example does not establish U.S. eligibility, a brokerage licence or access to every product.

Use a separate record for an alternative programme

This guide is about source versions and a named static definition, not a test of executions, withdrawals or all Lux claims. It does not present older indexed text as today's applicable contract.

HashHedge is a separate sponsored provider below. Its drawdown, market and eligibility must be read independently rather than inheriting a Lux formula.
